Angry Neighbor Takes A Gun To Noisy Drone

Not everyone is happy to see drones flying around their neighborhoods these days, and one angry citizen in Washington recently took to throwing stones at a drone nearby, before taking a gun to it.

She says that she panicked when she noticed the device hovering near her home, above her garden area. At first she tried to get rid of it by throwing stones at it but that didn't work. She then took a gun in an effort to try and scare it off.

The owners of the drone decided to share the footage of what happened online and it's since gone viral.

She isn't the first one to get worried or angry about drones flying nearby and as they becoming increasingly popular toys, more people are running into conflict about how and where they should be operated. There is ongoing debate about where the private property line ends for individuals as far as the airspace around their home and who should be allowed to fly drones nearby if they are interfering with others.

Shortly after the woman approached her neighbors drone with the gun, it took off and it isn't clear whether or not she apparently fired a shot at it. From the video, it looks like the drone wasn't that close to the property and if anything her stone throwing and possible shots fired are an unjust infringement upon the private property of another.

What do you think? Certainly people should have some expectation of privacy in their own home and around their private property, to the point where they shouldn't be harassed by the spying of others(or the state). But this drone was quite far away from her. Either way, that drone operator probably won't be flying close to her home again anytime soon.
