Time to test yourself:
"Life is like a box of chocolates"
As you are about to see the evidence suggests / proves beyond reasonable doubt, there now exist at least Two (2) versions of this 'reality', of this event, two CPTs (Continuous Probable time-lines)
- Reality 1
"Life IS like a box of Chocolates"
(The 'IS' Reality)
And
- Reality 2
"Life WAS like a box of Chocolates"
(the 'present' 'Was' reality)
Of the Two (2) version of reality, by far the 'strongest' (with most evidence) is the 'IS' version presently.
There is actually more evidence for the 'IS' version than the 'Was' version that is now recorded on the DVD in this 'time-line'
Why this will be jarring for some people to understand upon hearing is because of the large mismatch or gap if you shifted across these CPT.
Any reasonable person that is not subject to extensive social programming would be able to discern this though the deduction of the overwhelming evidence, however the effect of cognitive dissonance provides extensive motivational aspects as to why middle to low IQ humans will hold a purposefully knowledgeable view/opinion that they know (or strongly suspect) to be incorrect.
don't misunderstand me, I'm not saying that a human is 'mentally ill' in this way if they simply do not remember either of the CPT I'm talking specifically here about the effect that they do and then convince themselves they do not, this effect is the result of various 'social' programming and many other effects.
however today i'm not analysing this human mental illness i'm simply showing the evidence for the 'Is' CPT.
The 'Is' line CPT evidence that has been acquired for the 'Forest Gump' film (so far) in 6+ points.

The forest Gump DVD cover says the line 'Life is like a box of chocolates' this is a correct quote to how many remember (and now evidently proven to be said) and a misquote if someone is to contest it was his mothers quote, his mother says :
"life is a box of chocolates Forest"
When he recounts it he says:
"life is like a box of chocolates" (in the 'is' CPT)
the DVD cover says it word for word as
"life is like a box of chocolates"

David Letterman at an awards night quoted it as 'an iconic line in movie history' and said the line
'Life is like a box of Chocolates'

The actual line and scene (the 'Is' scene) was found though a 'making of' documentary of the film shoot.

Millions of people's memories remember it being 'life is like a box of chocolates' with many references been made to it.
your memories are important.

Tom hanks actually recounted / Re-enacted the line on a TV show and correctly said it as
'Life is like a box of chocolates'
To contest he got his own line wrong (especially this iconic one that defined the movie ) is on par with claiming he forgot he played in the movie, unless you contest Tom has some mind debilitating memory illness.
furthermore those shows are 'live recorded' so if he said his own lines wrong they would / could have re-recorded it.
the fact (as evidence shows) is to everyone in the room including him and the host the line was correct.

Numbers of T-shirts mugs an other residual merchandise not the product of the changed CPT still say

This 'Weird Al' song called "Gump' in which he quotes Gump saying the 'Is' CPT line.
