Boisduval's Autumn Moth

Apologies to anyone with Mottephobia :-)

It would be easy to assume that these two moths were completely different species, but, in fact, they are both the same. This is Boisduval's Autumn Moth, (Oenosandra boisduvalii). It is a example of strong sexual dimorphism, that is to say strong differences in the physical appearance of the male and female.
