Right now, the list of the most costly materials on earth are dominated by rare earth substances i.e. platinum, valuable pearls, precious stones, illegal drugs and propelled materials that are perilous and difficult to produce. These substances share a consistent theme of being high in demand and low in supply.

Methamphetamine is a highly-addictive drug which is illegal. This drug causes some serious health problems.  The drug’s ability to rapidly release dopamine in the brain causes side  effects such as violent behavior, psychosis, paranoia, anxiety, sleep  deprivation and intense mood swings.

Price Per Gram of Methamphetamine: $120 (Rs. 7740)

Number #10: Heroin

Like Methamphetamine Heroin is also a highly-addictive drug which is 100% illegal. Heroin travels directly to the brain, transforms into morphine and seeks  opioid receptors responsible for breathing and other automatic  cognitive processes necessary for life. It's  the most addictive and destructive drugs in the world.

Price Per Gram of Heroin : $130 (Rs. 8385)

Antimatter is a material composed of the antiparticle "partners" to the corresponding particles of ordinary matter. Antimatter is the most expensive substance on earth. In order to produce a very tiny amounts of antimatter it requires some of the most advanced technology available, such as CERN. Production of one milligram of Antimatter costs about $50 million. There is no current uses of Antimatter. But, we hope in the future we'll use antimatter as fuel of spacecrafts.
