Manchester United - Tottenham
Clash of the Titans. Game of the Week. United vs Spurs. For many years this would be a match where United would be the favorites, but times have changed. It's opposite now. Spurs looks to be a bit superior compared to United. United has not been great offensively the last couple of matches. Lukaku doesn't look good, and with Pogba, and Zlatan out they seem to struggle a bit. Remember that Mkhitaryan, Mata, Rashford, Martial are not amongst the greatest in the world. Because of that, they are struggling at the moment. They are simply not creative enough. Mourinho's creativity lies in the defense. Never has there been a manager that clever and creative when it comes to defending. Therefore I could easily see this end 0-0 or 1-1. Manchester United is never easy, but if someone has to open up their defense it's Alli, Eriksen and Kane. Kane is the player with the most shots at goal in the Premier League, and is the player to have on your team. Kane is so deadly, that only Agüero is near his level. Luckily for Mourinho it looks like that both Phil Jones and Bailly will be ready, which would decrease the chances of Kane scoring more than once. If you are wondering what players to have on your FPL team I completely understand. I would personally go with Kane, Eriksen, De Gea, or Davies. De Gea would be amazing if they manage to keep a clean sheet as he would probably get a lot of bonus points. I predict: 1-1 Missing Players: Zlatan, Pogba, Fellaini, Rojo and Carrick (United) and Wanyama (Spurs)
Arsenal - Swansea
People were going absolutely nuts after the Watford defeat, which is understandable, but we should not forget that it was the only defeat in 10 matches. Arsené and Arsenal bounced back quickly with a victory against Everton, which had Özil, Sanchez and Lacazette playing together for the first time. They are expected to do that again. Hopefully they can crack the Swansea defense wide open. Swansea has only conceded one goal away from home while scoring two in four games. Something tells us that it won't be too easy for Sanchez & co. Swansea managed to keep Kane & co from scoring. Something not a lot of teams are capable of. Therefore, instead, of telling you to buy Lacazette, Sanchez or Özil I see better value in the Arsenal defense. Kolasniac, Monreal, Mertesacker and Bellerin are all likely to bag a clean sheet, with a small possibility to score a goal. I see amazing value in Mertesacker (4,9m £) as he is likely to play until Mustafi is back. I see Arsenal winning this one, and keep Swansea away from scoring even though Abraham looks deadly. I predict: 2-0 Missing Players: Ospina, Welbeck, Mustafi, Cazorla, Chambers (Arsenal) and Bartley, Olsson, Renato Sanchez, Bony (Swansea)
West Brommich - Manchester CIty
I have to be honest here. I don't give a damn about making a preview on West Bromwich, so I will keep this to City. You never know what's going on inside Guardiola's head. I expect him to someday play Bravo as a striker. It's impossible to predict his starting line-up. Especially with City going into extra time against Wolves on thuesday and with Champions League just around the corner. The only players I am certain he will play is Stones, Otamendi, D. Silva, and De Bruyne. Other than those, it's guesswork. I believe he will rest Sterling as he played the whole game against Wolves, but so did Agüero, and would he rest him? Don't think so. Sane has shown a lot of quality lately with both goals and assists, so he might the player to have on your team. Bernardo Silva might also be given the chance, but I don't see him score goals for City. He dosen't seem to play at the level he did at Monaco. My suggestions would be Sane, Stones and D. Silva as I am pretty sure they will start. Jesus might also start as he was substituted off against Wolves, but you never know. I am looking forward to how much City will win, and who will score the goals this match. You never know. It's like a box of chocolate. You never know what you gonna get. I predict 0-3. Missing Players: Burke, Evans, Morrison (W.B.A) and Mendy, Kompany, Gündogan (City)
