How do you see the idea of paying for your food items with steem/SBD this yutide season. Great, right! I'm embarking on the project. Do you want to buy rice, beans, fish, provisions, fruits, etc? You can now pay with your steem or SBD. The shop will be mainly for steemians in Nigeria to buy from.
These could be more delicious when bought with steem
Location
Port Harcourt is the starting point, but we hope to spread to other parts of the country. For now, there's no provision for shipping, so you just come to the shop, select the stuff you want and transfer the steem/SBD to @greatness96 and get your stuff. The prices of goods in steem/SBD will be displayed against each item on the shelf and it's going to be equivalent to the naira equivalent of dollars at the time of purchase. That means, prices might fluctuate.
Why I'm setting up the shop
It's my own way of encouraging steemians to be productive, having in mind that their efforts can put food on their tables without going through any conversion and the resulting charges. It's worthy of note that @airhawk-project is also doing a nice job in providing a buying and selling platform for steem/SBD from Nigerians and paying directly in naira. With these initiatives, coupled with our steem shop, Nigeria will soon become a steem/SBD currency supported country.
I understand the legal backing we need as this move spread, so I'm talking to some lawyers for legal backing in this project, so nothing to fear.
Bring in your inputs
I know I need more ideas, so I'm opening this project up for suggestions from everyone. Feel free to comment and drop your contributions or questions concerning this concept.
Constructive criticism are also welcome.
Much love from @greatness96.
