so i squeezed out some time to create something for the sixweekhealth contest. this delicacy is easy to make and just as healthy.
firstly, i just want to chip this in. Every morning i drink at least 3 glasses of warm water as this has amazing benefits. Drinking warm water in the morning improves blood circulation; increases the body temperature which, in turn increases your metabolic rate (an increase in metabolic activity gives the body the ability to burn calories through out the day which aids weight loss); it improves digestion; alleviates pain (menstrual and other cramps); prevents prostate cancer in men, as a matter of fact the list is endless. i hope to talk solely on this topic sometime, but meanwhile please give it a try, even if it's the only thing you take out from this post.
over to the delicacy already.
Ingredients required
- beans (high amount of protein; controls weight; boost immunity)
- carrot (contains vitamin A; cleanses the body; prevents infection)
- tomatoes (rich in vitamins and minerals; wades off heart diseases)
- cucumber (rich in fiber and water; fights inflammation; aids digestion)
- pepper (rich in vitamins and antioxidants; helps burn calories)
- crayfish (rich in minerals, vitamins and amino acids)
- coconut juice (high amounts of vitamin B, ascorbic acid, proteins, minerals; aids oxidation)
- ginger (improves bone health; aids digestion; improves sexual activity; detoxifies)
- onions (heals infection and inflammation; contains antioxidant)
- pumpkin leaf (rich in vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, fiber)
PREPARATION
- firstly, wash and cook the beans. when the beans begins to get soft put the coconut milk. This enhances and gives a special taste and flavor.
- while the beans cooks on the side, chop your vegetables into cubes or any shape you prefare;
- Put your fry pan on fire (on another side) and put a little groundnut oil (in my case i mixed this with a little palm oil)
- pour the vegetables inside and begin to stir fry until they start turning gold;
- When the vegetales look ready, turn the beans you cooked with coconut milk into the mixture and stir. Put in the spices (salt, maggi, crayfish, ginger), i even did a yam topping just to put a carbohydrate in my diet;
- Allow to steam for about 8 minutes then its done.
And that is how to make the perfect balance diet; as easy as coconut beans. I hope that you try this out, it's amazing.
