Day 2 [Week One of Six Week Health]-Tzatziki

There are many options that we can choose to adopt a healthy diet to improve our health,to the expectation with the challenge of @healthsquared .
Tzatziki is a traditional recipe of Greek and Turkish cuisine. It is a refreshing recipe that can be taken as a starter starter or as an appetizer. From the Tzatziki we can find different recipes in which some ingredients coincide and others have been changed.

It basically consists of a kind of sauce that depending on the chosen ingredients can be taken as soup (if water is added), as a sauce (for kebabs) or as dips (for the traditional pita bread).


My recipe today is Tzatziki(Greek cucumber sauce and yogurt)



Ingredients
4 servings
2 Greek yogurts
1 garlic clove
The juice of half a lemon
1 cucumber
peppermint or peppermint leaves
virgin olive oil
salt and pepper


Preparation
15 minutes

1.-Peel the cucumber and wash. It is passed through a grater and the pulp obtained is put to drain in a colander.
2.-In a bowl put the 2 yoghurts, garlic clove very chopped, lemon juice, oil, mint washed, dried and very chopped and salt and pepper. Beat the mixture well with a fork.
3.-Drain the grated cucumber and add it to the previous pasta. It is beaten again until it is homogeneous. It gets to cool in the fridge.
It is served with breads such as pita, wheat tortillas, chopped or with vegetable crudités. I love to accompany him with grilled chicken (that's not so dull).
