Six Week Health Week Four, Day 2 (Chestnut pancakes)

Hello Stemians, today I bring you this recipe for the challenge of @healthsquared, I hope and you like it.

This is a healthy dessert and free of gluten, chestnuts are nuts but unlike many of these barely contains fat so they provide less calories.

INGREDIENTS:

  • 2 eggs
  • 120 milk
  • 150 g of chestnut flour
  • 1 teaspoon of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of yeast
  • 1 vanilla pod
  • Salt
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • rosemary honey
  • mint leaves

PREPARATION:

1- Sift the chestnut flour to a bowl. Add the sugar, a pinch of salt and the yeast. Mix well.

2- Mix the eggs with the milk in a bowl. Add the previous mixture little by little while stirring. Introduce the inside of the vanilla pod, mix and let stand for 15 minutes.

3- Spread a pan with oil and add small portions of dough. Keep them for 2 minutes on each side.

4- Serve the chestnut pancakes and sprinkle with threads of rosemary honey. Garnish with mint leaves.

I love many these chestnut pancakes, I hope and just as I also enjoy them and now to EAT!
