As we continue the journey to the sound health of the body and mind I want to say Thank you to our host @healthsquared and our sponsor @sweetsssj for keeping this Sixweekhealth challenge not just running well but vibrant also.
This week takes us to the issue of a healthy dessert which is low in Sugar and fats. And as @healthsquared rightly put; a dessert that would also suit people with sweet tooth.
So here is one dessert I think would be enjoyed by everyone wether you are sugar tolerant or not.
THE BANANA ICE CREAM
INGREDIENTS
- 3 or 4 pieces of Banana
- Almonds
- Strawberry
- Other fruits of choice.
HOW TO MAKE BANANA ICE CREAM
Bring out the bananas you want to use.
Peel the bananas and cut into little pieces.
Then refrigerate overnight.
Put the chopped bananas in a blender and spin until it is fine and smooth.
Now is the time to put in the toppings to add some flavour to the banana ice cream.
Here I used black berries and shaved almonds for the topping.
You too can try this and have a taste of the goodness.
