I was browsing through Pinterest, and I saw these beautiful illustrations made by Alfred Basha. He uses pen creating these artworks. Basically, he create these hand-drawn animal illustrations by merging with the natural world. Example of his works involves silhouette of animals with trees sprouts.
I was so amazed with his style of work, I feel the need to create one too! 😅
And so here I'm gonna show you the artwork that I made inspired by Alfred Basha's illustrations.
So I was thinking about what kind animal I should draw, I thought that I can't just copy his creation, so I came up with the idea of drawing a dog. Basically because dogs are man's bestfriend. 😊
PROCESS:
MATERIALS:
Vellum Board
Mechanical Pencil
Unipin 0.1
I sketch the outline of the image that I will be using.
I started creating the tree sprout effect.
Then I traced it using a unipin 0.1.
Then I filled it up still using unipin 0.1. Just one stroke as possible and do not press down too hard.
And lastly, I draw the tree sprouts.
And my artwork is done!!
It really is an amazing style. Clearly, I learned another style of creating an artwork. Thanks to Alfred Basha, it is an another way of expressing art.
