A new sketch idea for a Singularity painting.

Were definitely inspired not only by my Singularity obsession, but also by my surroundings. So what better thing to share here on this #sublimsunday and the sort of #walkwithme.

Really, it is more of a wobble with me, with my broken toe, but you get the general idea. And I'm lucky that I haven't to walk far to see my inspiration.

Snowy Egrets and Blue Herons return to our beach each Summer and fish and play along our shore.

I am always happy and grateful for the joy of these birds and the luck of getting to live so close to their Summer habitat. It's easy to see inspiration from these majestic creatures when they so happily perch on our rocks out front.

Here a pair of blue heron and one snowy egret are sharing the Spitting rock

and I was able to snap some photos whilst enjoying my new terrace.

A close in zoom shows the beauty of these birds.

The curvilinear forms their bodies take when they are preening is art unto itself.

You can see how easily they would end up in my artwork with such beauty. And at 'feeding time' which depends on the tide and winds for our own personal viewing, it can be an amazing cacophony of sight and sound.

Here they are hunting slowly, whilst the terns dive and plunge, there is no stalking for them, just dive and go.

Thus, this #walkwithme is not very far, from my newly made terrace to the edge of our lawn, but oh the things I get to see on a day such as this.

Well, I hope your Sunday is as sublime as mine has been. I hope you get a moment to watch nature in some way, whether it is birds in the wild countryside or seashore, or the antics of pigeons or insects on an urban windowsill, do take the time to look.
