A Crypto Creative Comons Collective!

At the center of the Slothicorn Universe, is Crypto Currency themed art, in the Creative Commons.

Slothicorn is Bigger than just Crypto-Art!! It's also an Incubator for all types of ideas!

A number of projects and ideas have been birthed within this community:

An Alternate Reality Game, to teach people how to turn thier creative energy into Crypto Currency.
There is an upcoming RPG, to be played right here on Steem, with crypto-currency hidden in it!
A Community Project has sprung up alongside Slothicorn, centered around creative commons art on Steem, that doesn't necessarily involve Crypto Currency.

You will then find yourself "In The Beginning" of the chat server, where there are instructions, and reading materials to familiarize yourself with the community.

When you are ready, please check out the pinned messages and introduce yourself. We have a few roles such as "Sloth" for overall creatives, "Unicorn" for artists, and "Icorn" for Developers. You can share in the "skills-roles-rabbitholes" a bit about yourself, and how you'd like to contribute to slothicorn. Then we can assign you a Role which gives you full access to all of the channels. This prevents spammers, who have no interest in what we are about, from bombarding the server overnight. Until you get a role, you will only be able to send messages in "skills-roles-rabbitholes", "general", and "all-access-spam".

Next up in your discord experience, is "Sloth-Stuff". This is where you can check in on the "general chat", as well as check for Official Announcements, and Contests. There is "sloth-game-design" for discussing the Augmented Reality game, as well as "ideas" for generally chatting about any kind of ideas you might have for Slothicorn and beyond. There's a channel to discuss the off-whitepaper, as well as a channel just for "slothicorn-gifs"!!!

The server is constantly changing, so don't be surprised if it isn't exactly the way I'm describing here. I'm giving this overview to help people navigate, and get an idea for what to expect.

There is a "Developers" category not pictured here, because it's fairly self explanatory. Slothicorn would love to have more developers, and project organizers to join the discussion, and help to create this mystical world.

"Requests" is the part of Slothicorn discord where you can seek collaborators, and Slothicorn can request for the creation of particular content. If you decide to try out one of the requests, make sure to stop by "requests-review" to share about what you are thinking about doing. With all of the Slothicorn content requests, we are looking for high quality submissions. Don't expect easy upvotes, here. If you make a submission that doesn't fit our needs, you might not get a very good vote. That's why it's good to get feedback before you publish something, to see if you are heading in the right direction.

Finally, we've come to the link drop section. "Sloth Links" is for Slothicorn specific art. #slothy-art is for art that is specifically slothicorn themed. "crypto-art" is for all of your art that is related to cryptocurrency in general. "sloth-posts" will be for completed Requests from above.

"Other Links" is for anything that's not Sloth Stuff.

"creative-commons" is for any creative commons art (All Slothicorn art is Creative Commons, so this channel is focused more on art which isn't slothicorn related).
"post-promotion" is for any posts you'd like to promote.
"awesome-art" is for art that's awesome, but doesn't fit any of the other categories.
