Steemit Music League Challenge Week Five / Essence of reminiscence / Original 90's Beat

Werd up Steemians,

here is my entry for the Steemit Music League Challenge Week 5. The theme is 90's Hip - Hop. Now, I grew up listening to them Hip - Hop pioneers from the early days of New York (Grand Master Flash & The Furious Five, DJ Kool Herc, Afrika Bambaataa, DJ Grand Wizard Theodore, Doug E. Fresh, Slick Rick, Sugar Hill Gang, Kurtis Blow, Biz Markie, Marley Marl, Big Daddy Kane, etc.) and absorbed the culture in the early state with all it had to offer, from Graffiti, to B-Boy - ing, MC- ing and Beat making. Since I tend to love originators / innovators rather then the followers of the hype, I've always sticked to the New York sound of Hip - Hop which still fascinates me till the day of today. Matter of fact a very good friend of mine from New York, Jermain Byrd aka Shasun told me: "Son, you got that New York state of mind...what the f@!# are you doing im Germany?" lOl That was the most sincere recognition I've ever heard from any Hip Hop head in my entire life. So I got crowned from a New Yorker of having the New York state of mind, naahmean? What better can possibly happen to anyone then being recognized for what he does? Doing beats in an old school way, was and still is my first goal when I make beats, there might be some modern sounds here and there, but my fundamental vibe is always old school. I really hope you guys can hear New York through my Jam, and I bet you'll like it from the first till the last crackle. (;
Peace.. I'm out!! (mic drop) ☻☺
