Wow what an experience this Steemit Music League has been.
Bringing souls from all over the world and providing them an avenue to share their art with a community that cares. A community that gives feedback and inspires each other to do great things.
From the bottom of my heart, I want to thank everyone who has participated in the Steemit Music League from all the amazing Steemian musicians & producers to the incredible judges ( @danyelk, @derekmiller, @andrewlyte) who listen and analyze each week to the amazing listeners who get to chance to enjoy original music not found anywhere else.
Only one more week after this in Season One so we are excited to see and hear what you create for this week's theme.
Here are the details of the Steemit Music League Challenge Week #10:
This week's theme is:
Alien Invasion
Most of humanity have realized we are not alone in this existence. So let's celebrate this by creating some epic art around an Alien Invasion.
Aliens and foreign life resonates differently with each of us so curious to hear what the community comes up with. Will the Alien Invasion be welcomed with some positive vibes? Or will the Alien Invasion result in an epic war resulting in some intergallactic battle music?
Totally up to the vocalists, producers, and musicians of this awesome community.
Here is some content for inspiration:
All you have to do is submit an original entry based off of the theme of the week using the tag #smlchallenge and/or comment the entry on any SML Challenge posts.
Any type of music passion from singing to producing and everything in between is welcome. We are looking forward to be able to help these Steemians in the music community shine and receive the recognition and feedback they deserve.
You have until Tuesday night, December 26th to submit your entries with winners will be announced Wednesday, December 27th.
The entries will be judged off of the following:
- Sound Quality,
- Technicality,
- Creativity, and
- Relevance to theme
The prize pool is as follows:
FIRST PLACE WINNER: 18 STEEM + 42 Voiceshares for 60 points
SECOND PLACE WINNER: 9 STEEM + 36 Voiceshares for 45 points
THIRD PLACE WINNER: 6 STEEM + 31 Voiceshares for 37 points
FOURTH PLACE WINNER: 4 STEEM + 26 Voiceshares for 30 points
COMMUNITY FAVORITE: 3 STEEM + 21 Voiceshares for 24 points
The Community Favorite each week will be determined by the amount of upvotes and comments responding to their entries, upvotes on their submission comment, and total community support on post.
Week #10 of the Steemit Music League Challenge starts today and will accept submissions until December 26th with winners being announced Wednesday (December 27th).
The team of @chiefmappster, @danyelk, @derekmiller, and @andrewlyte are pumped to see what is in store for this week.
Don't forget it helps the judges and the community for you to make a post about your entry, with how you created it, the meaning behind it, how the theme came into play.
It is just another way for us Steemians to get to know you and your message.
