Heyy steemians, how do you do?
So I was out on steemit few days back and stumbled upon this account @sndbox and I must confess they got me triggered with all the wonderful things they got going. First thing I noticed was they appreciated and encouraged creativity and sought to give back to their local community with the aid of changing lives and creating a more focused awarness for the steem blockchain.

I also noticed there was a contest ongoing to create any form of infographics portraying Steem blockchain as the best out there so far with over one million average daily transactions transactions at a transaction speed of 3 seconds and best news yet is steem has only just utilized 0.1% of its blockchain capacity. I have not even given you the best news yet, Steem does not charge you for the transactions you make, even from Steem to other crypto blockchain. Steem is indeed the king of all crypto blockchains in the world and it won't end here it promises. More amazing things will still happen with Steemit and yes, only with Steemit.

I was reluctant at first to enter the contest because honestly i know nothing about infographics, and how to go about it to begin with. I was then reading the comments on the post and saw a reply where @sndbox said any form of animation is allowed and my ideas started rushing in instantly Lolz. I love anything graphics in general.

I had so many ideas that I didn't know which to use and of course I had to consider the time of submission as animation usually do take time. My first idea was on the race track, since the major Keypoint here is speed of transaction time. I would have different racers (humans) representing each coin and they would all run and of course Steem would win and cha cha cha I do some graphics about steem being the best and it ends. This was my initial idea but then I considered the time it would take to key frame the racers before they get to the finish line, how the race track should look like and lighting, angle of camera and all and decided I couldn't put such together within the time frame.

I then went back to my drawing book and bam!!! I found it but still did not know how to effectively pass the idea/message. I consulted with my housemates and they joined me in brain storming and that was how this video was born. I told them I would love to use a football scenario but how to pass the message? One of them told me that I should allow the players juggle the ball with their feet and that at the end, only Steem will be the last standing player but I ruled it out because having the players juggle ball will require a lot of key framing which rusts to a lot of work. I then figured it out, the perfect way to pass the message, without key framing a lot and fortunately for me, what I found was in itself a type of info graphics.

I was so happy I began immediately and yes I ran into challenges like power supply issues Lolz... Here our light supply is not as constant as you Western people, so I had to work in the midnight all night and sleep during the day, luckily for me i am on leave at work. Another challenge I faced was creating the steem coin, for some reason no one has created a steem coin on the net yet so I am proud to announce to you that I am the first person to ever create a 2d steem coin and I wouldn't have been able to do that if @sndbox did not give me the opportunity.

I spent a whole night gearing up the coin and I must confess I felt really frustrated because it was slowing my project down and there was a deadline to meet. Because I loved what I was doing, i kept on at it until I finally got it right

So here goes the most anticipated video and once again I want to thank @sndbox for challenging me to be the best I can be and for helping me see that I can be more than i am if only i am willing to go for it. Information was sourced from blocktivity.
Thank you Steemit, thank you steemians, thank you sndbox, and thank you @surpassinggoogle for always being there with the right motivational post when I need one. Please do enjoy the video by clicking on the d tube link below.
