Steem made lives memorable yesterday!

Yesterday was a beautiful and colourful day for me, my friends , the people of Galilee Kiddies Academy-Nigeria, the people of Afaha Ikot Osom-Ibesikpo, because I was able to reach one of my goals for this year which happens to be creating impact for humanity using STEEM. If I tell you what happened, would you be happy for me? Don't worry, I'll just make it brief.

I was once told that "a dream remains a dream only if we refuse to act on it." And I have always wanted to act on my dreams to make it a reality. One of my dreams was to solve the problem of electricity in my neighborhood and that was why I choose studying electrical/ electronics engineering at school in the first place.

I am very glad that STEEM can help me achieve this goal and also realize this dream.

STEEM lighting Africa project is not just a name, it would create impacts in Africa in terms of electricity

Steem electrical is not just a brand, it would soon make name when it comes to solar Installations in Africa

Yesterday, was the handing over ceremony of the solar I installed at Galilee Kiddies Academy.

If you didn't follow up the project, here are the links for the previous different stages👇

And now, the project is done. The turn up yesterday was so amazing, I didn't expect that. I was thinking, it was going to be just me, my few friends that come and members of the staffs of the school. Surprisingly, they mounted a canopy, the invite parents and the village council members.

It was really worth attending. The presentation from the students were brilliant. One of the student gave an opening speech and trust me, that girl is smart and intelligent. I have promised to pay her next term school fees, interestingly, her mother was there too.

The event run smoothly and ended successfully.

I took time to make the video so that you can enjoy how the program went yesterday. This video showcase the remarkable transformation that STEEM has brought to a local school in my environment. The video has two parts. Please exercise patients while watching to the end. Part 2 covers the entire event of yesterday, don't miss watching it to the end, that is were the main thing is.

PART 1-[Preview of the initial stage]

Please take a moment to immerse yourself in the true testament of the significant impact that the Steemit blockchain is making, as I share this achievement with the Steem community.

This accomplishment fills us with immense pride, marking a journey of remarkable success. Sit back, relax, and witness the beauty of positive change that comes from STEEM.

Appreciation

This project wouldn't be that easy to achieve if not for the supports of my friends here who believe in good things and positive mindset. They shared their posts beneficiaries, gave some good votes and even delegate Steem power to support me on this journey. I would avoid the temptation of tagging them here 😀 as most of them might not really like it. But this is me saying, thank you so much for your generosity and supports. YES! with little drops, we can create impacts just like this.

I take this opportunity to thank the Steemit team for the massive support thus far in bringing us to this point. Those votes from you were useful and here is the result - It is changing lives.

I wasn't there alone, my niece was with me and I'll be ungrateful if I didn't mention that. She had a good time too.

@eliany and husband were here and my comedian friend King douglas comedy was also here. Thank you so much for coming and for all the supports.

I also want to thank the few friends who joined my Twitter(X) live yesterday to watch the program while it was on, you are all special, thank you so much.

What next?

STEEM lighting Africa is not just one project, it would continue to the next project. As a matter of fact, another project is coming up ASAP. Stay alert for more updates soon.

STEEM has shown the world that it is capable of changing lives, I am grateful and I know that others too are proud to be part of this amazing initiatives that is making a significant impact in solving real-life challenges.

It has been a great journey to have reached the 3rd solar installation in Nigeria powered by Steem, and I'm sure we are proud of the fact that these projects have become a reference point for many folks to believe more in Steem's ability to change lives.

Wait to welcome some new folks much later, unfortunately, network disturbed us yesterday and we couldn't sign some interested people up, however, we have reschedule for another time at a different location were we would have a good network signal.
