Faltan 3 días para la próxima "supuesta consulta democrática" en Venezuela. Y el truco habitual de dar incentivos algunos dias antes de la eleccion está en progreso. Los jubilados reciben aumento en sus pensiones y, presumiblemente, a los empleados publicos se les adjusta el salario. Para aquellos que aun no saben sobre la realidad de Venezuela, esto puede sonar maravilloso.
Quiero decir, en cualquier otro país esto sería un sueño. Imaginen recibir un aumento o un bono cada dos meses. Creo que la personas tendrian más que suficiente, su patria sería próspera. Entonces, ¿por qué los ciudadanos de Venezuela se mueren de hambre? ¿Por qué no tienen dinero para pagar sus cuentas, comprar ropa y medicinas? ¿Por qué apenas hay suministros en los supermercados? Para cualquier extraño, podría pensar que lo están tomando por tonto.
Y la respuesta es tan simple. No hay economía. Los especialistas tratan de explicar el desastre financiero, pero es suficiente con decir que todo es falso. Cualquier cifra que el gobierno corrupto muestre es una farsa. Solo tenemos que mirar el mercado donde podemos ver a otros países en desarrollo comercializar. Están haciendo negocios con otros países para estimular su economía. No importa cuán pobres sean. Somos testigos que estan actuando, comercializando con sus propios recursos.
Pero parece que Venezuela es la excepción a la regla. La mayoría de los ciudadanos entiende los problemas, pero como dije en uno de mis mas recientes articulos, Ciudadanos De Venezuela - Citizens Of Venezuela, algunos grupos de personas deben ser educados adecuadamente. Creen que todos los negocios que se llevan a cabo todos los días no pueden afectar su moneda inútil.
El origen de esta falta de comprension radica en la pobre educación de los ciudadanos. Por lo tanto, existe la necesidad de comprender algunos pilares esenciales y básicos.
La riqueza de un país ya no está cubierta por sus recursos naturales
Sin entrar en el tecnicismo, hubo un momento en que los países que tenian más oro (el metal más valioso) eran los mas ricos. Pero esto cambió. En este momento, la economía se basa en las inversiones y los intercambios.
Acordar contratos futuros, crear confianza para posibles inversionistas... Naturalmente, este tipo de economía está lejos de ser perfecto porque se basa en la deuda. El crédito es la rueda que mueve la economía. Y cuando la confianza se pone en peligro, la rueda se detiene y el dinero ya no circula. Esa es la causa común de cualquier crisis.
Desafortunadamente, hay personas en Venezuela que todavía piensan que su dinero es tan fuerte como el valor del petróleo, que por cierto la gente de Venezuela nunca obtiene una parte de él. Este es claramente un problema cultural que lamentablemente se ha arraigado.
El progreso nunca se logra a traves de las dádivas
Algunos ciudadanos están acostumbrados a recibir pequeños incentivos. Se les ha enseñado que la única ayuda que pueden recibir de los funcionarios son bolsas de suministros. Cualquier gobierno competente no tiene que alentar este patrón porque la gente se acostumbra a el.
Los corruptos se aprovechan de esto y lo usan para sus propios beneficios. Incluso intensifican esta estrategia degradante, convirtiendo las ayudas en programas sociales que no tienen ningún valor sustentable.
Tal plan simplemente pone un techo en las cabezas de los ciudadanos lo cual cubre su visión, haciéndoles creer que merecen solo lo que su gobierno les otorga.
Recientemente leí un buen post donde el autor indica que el capitalismo no distribuye la riqueza de manera equitativa, pero el socialismo (un mero eufemismo para ocultar su verdadera naturaleza) empeora las cosas. Hace que los pobres sean más pobres. Destruye todas las posibilidades de progreso y ahoga cualquier idea de autodesarrollo.
A lo largo de todos los ejemplos que hemos tenido en lugares donde se ha implantado el socialismo, hemos aprendido que el socialismo solamente crea un ecosistema venenoso, donde las personas inescrupulosas prosperan en un ambiente podrido, consumiendo cualquier apice de honestidad y valor en las comunidades.

Any numbers the corrupt government shows is a sham. We just need to look at the market where we're able to see other developing countries trading. They are doing business with other countries in order to stimulate their economy. No matter how poor they are. We're seeing them acting. They're marketing with their own resources.
But Venezuela looks like as if they are the exception to the rule. The majority of the citizens understand the problems, But as I said in one of my recent posts, Ciudadanos De Venezuela - Citizens Of Venezuela some groups of people need to be educated properly. They think that all the trades and business that are carried out everyday cannot impact their useless currency.
The origin of this lack of understanding lies in the poor education of citizens. Therefore, there is a need to understand some essential and basic concepts.
The wealth of a country is not represented anymore by natural resources
Without stepping into technicality, there was a time where the countries that holds the most gold (the most valuable metal) were the richest. But this changed. Right now economy is is based on investments and trades.
Agreeing on futures contract,creating trust for prospect investors. Naturally, this type of economy is far from perfect because it is based on debt. Credit is the wheel that move economy. So, when trust is jeopardized, the wheel stops and money doesn't circulate anymore. That's the common cause for any crises.
Unfortunately, there are people in Venezuela who still think that their money is as strong as the value of oil, which by the way the people of Venezuela never get a slice of it. This is clearly a cultural problems that has sadly settled down.
Progress is never achieved by receiving alms
Some citizens are used to receive little incentives. They have been taught that the only help they can receive from the elected officials are bags of supplies. Any competent government doesn't have to encourage this pattern because people get used to it.
Corrupts take advantage of this, and use it for their own benefits. They even intensify this degrading strategy, turning the tips into social programs which doesn't hold any sustainable value.
Such scheme just put a roof on citizens' heads that cover their vision, making them believe that they deserve only what their government give them.
I recently read a good post when the author implies that capitalism doesn't distribute wealth equitably, but socialism (euphemism word to conceal its true nature) makes things worse. It makes poor people poorer. It destroy all the possibilities for progress, and choke any idea of self-development.
Throughout all the examples we had in places where socialism has been implanted, we've learned that it just creates a poisonous ecosystem, where unscrupulous people thrive in the rotten environment, consuming any piece of honesty and value from the communities.
