Entonces,

llegó el silencio

repentino

por estas calles

          dormidas

                     entre tus brazos,

                               en el cobijo de tus besos,

y los sueños

se fueron durmiendo

en las aceras

           grises.

Entonces,

los mares

                     se callaron

y ya no llegarán las olas

                    a estas costas

                              donde están esos barcos

                                                  que construí

                                                                       para ti.

Then,

the sudden silence

arrived

to these streets

          asleep

                    in your arms,

                              in the shelter of your kisses,

and the dreams

started to slumber

on the sidewalks

          gray.

Then,

the seas

                went silent

and the waves will not arrive now

                    to these shores

                              where stay the boats

                                        i built

                                                   for you.

Allora,

arriba il silencio

da subito

per queste strade

          addormentati

nelle tue bracci,

                              infiltrati la coperta delle tue bacci,

e i sogni

sono andati a dormire

sul marciapiedi

                    grige.

Allora,

i mari

          si tacciono

e ora non arribano le onde

                    a queste coste

                              dove stanno quelli velieri

                                        che construivo

                                                              per te.
