Chess Blitz of the Day
Tournament = Semifinals - London Sixteen Rapid 2013.
Boris Gelfand
Although the years went by, Gelfand's performance did not decline. This was demonstrated in the 2013 Candidate Tournament in London. Despite losing both games to Magnus Carlsen, he showed that his best days were not over and finished a few months later second by tiebreaking at the Alekhine Memorial. Shortly after (2014), it surely obtained one of the best performances of its race, gaining Memorial Tal, half a point above Magnus Carlsen.
