I was very lucky today, I had the time and the chance to go out for some great walk with my ladies. We hit one of the local parks, the weather was gorgeous and everything looked just beautiful. Lots of kids were playing (it is still spring vacation) and most important I could find the biggest sign that spring isn't hiding anymore.
The cherry trees (or in Japanese Sakura 桜) are ready to open their blossoms. The trees are full of blossom buds, but here or there we could already see some open ones too. Isn't that great, just a few more days and big parts of the city, streets and parks, will be a sea of white and pinkish blossoms. So fragile, that wind and rain can easily wash and blow them down. It is impossible to not feel being a part of the ever-changing cycle of life.
That spectacle only last for a week or two, depending on the weather and the area but this season is anticipated throughout the whole country. I can't wait myself either, hopefully the weather will allow some extended blossoms viewing.
So for today I will lighten up your mood with some pictures of nice plum tree blossoms. They are usually blooming a few weeks earlier and are also quite nice.

Heute hatte ich die großartige Gelegenheit mit meinen beiden Mädels ein bisschen aus zu gehen. Das Wetter war einfach spitze also sind wir auf in den nächsten Park. Spielende Kinder überall (es ist immer noch Ferienzeit) und noch besser, dass wir endlich die richtigen Anzeichen finden konnten, dass der Frühling sich nicht mehr weiter verstecken wird.
Die Kirschbäume (oder in japanisch Sakura 桜) sind endlich bereits zu blühen anzufangen. Die Bäume sind voller Knospen, und hier und dort sind sie sogar schon aufgegangen. Ist das nicht toll, noch ein paar Tage und dann werden sich große Teile der Stadt, die Straßen und Parks, in ein weißes und rosa Meer verwandeln. So zerbrechlich, dass Wind und Regen die Blüten leicht runterwaschen und wegwehen können. Es ist unmöglich sich dabei nicht als ein Teil des ewigen Kreislaufes des Lebens zu fühlen.
Das Spektakel dauert nur eine oder zwei Wochen, abhängig von Wetter und Lage aber diese Saison wird im ganzen Land sehnsüchtig erwartet. Ich kann selber kaum noch warten, hoffentlich wird das Wetter uns erlauben, uns ausgiebig an dieser Schau zu erfreuen.
Für heute kann ich euch dann noch ein paar Bilder mit schönen Plaumenbaumblüten anbieten. Diese blühen normalerweise ein paar Wochen früher aber sind auch nicht zu verachten. Beim letzten Bild bin ich mir dann aber nicht sicher, was das für ein Baum ist, trotzdem toll.
Euch allen noch einen schönen Tag und bleibt dran für die Kirschen, die jetzt bald richtig blühen werden.
