Sprout: From Seed to Song
Inspiration often comes from many places. This new approach gives you a seed of inspiration, and as a participant, you create a piece of music from that!
Week II Winners
First: @yamaagni -
Second: @khanzoo -
Third: @kuchee -
This week's seed is:
"Duvet chrysalis twitches.
A languid hiss of breathe
encased in pupal state,
engorged from mornings’
rekindled embrace.
Yawning summer’s quilted
heat - my optic nerves rebel.
Pupils swell, reflecting shapes
in dawn’s pellucid knell.
Outside the city stirs.
Car horns, rumbling trucks,
cooing pigeons, merge
in sublime sluice,
diffuse smile crinkles
your upper lip,
the flicker of eyelashes
as you slip
from dream
to flashes
and reticent awakening.
