TWO Battles Using The Silvershield Assassin: My Splinterlands Journey #15

One of the fun features of getting in the game of Splinterlands daily is the opportunity to earn rewards card daily! I was so please to receive the Silvershield Assassin as one of the reward cards for completing a Daily Quest in Splinterlands.

My Life Team is not really strong, and so I did not utilize them in battle as much... not until I received the Silvershield Assassin. I am more confident using the Life team now because I finally have a strong Life Monster!

I L-O-V-E the Silvershield Assasin card and always try to put her in the lineup when feasible whenever I call upon the Life Team to battle.

Notable about this Rare Life Monster card are: (1) It has Melee attack which means it will deliver attacks on the first position and (2) it comes with two abilities right from Level 1 which allows her to likewise deliver attacks from the back position! The abilities are:

  • SNEAK- targets the last enemy card.
  • DOUBLE STRIKE- attacks twice each round.

At Level 5, the Silvershield Assasin gains another great ability: POISON- attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied. You will be able to observe this in my Battle No. 2 below.

Here are two battles that I want to feature for @splinterlands SHARE YOUR BATTLE Weekly Challenge using the Silvershield Assasin.

Battle No. 1: Ruleset- Silence Summoners/Rise of Commons; Mana- 18

In the this battle, it is impressive how the Silvershield Assassin delivered all the kill blows which eliminated each and every enemy Monster in the battlefield!

After seeing how great this card performed in the battle above, I decided to level my Silvershield Assassin to Level 5.

Battle No. 2: Rule- Unprotected; Mana-24

My general strategy is to position the Silvershield Assassin on the third or fourth position in the lineup. The Silvershield Assassin performs best at the back position.

I've used her in the second position during low Mana battles and using very low mana monsters (such as Furious Chicken or Creeping Ooze) in the first position to provide the Silvershield Assassin a couple of rounds to deliver double strikes to my opponent's Monsters.

I am a visual learner and understand better about how the cards behave and perform in battles by watching all my battles from start to finish. I hope that you enjoyed at least one of battles above and that you likewise learned something from it as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you!

In case you are interested, here are the other Splinterland Battles I previously shared.
