Bear attack!! Did anyone make it out alive?

In the last round, the players awoke to find a hungry mother Black Bear, and two cubs, looking right at them. As far as the bears were concerned, the players were prey and fair game for a midnight snack. Let's see what happened.

DAY 15 ROUND 1 RESULTS

OPTION 3 – Shout at the bear and make a lot of noise to try to scare it away.

This was the most popular answer, and there are times when it is a good idea to try to make noise to scare away a bear. Small bears, or bears in the distance, may be able to be scared away in this manner. However, such is not always the case for a hungry bear who thinks you are prey.

According to "wikihow":

Noise may or may not make things worse. Small bears, including black bears, can be scared away with noise. Some people believe metallic noise scares off bears because it's "not natural" and there are documented examples of bears running away from clanging metallic sounds. However, any noise may be effective if it's going to work at all. Be aware that larger bears, including large black bears and polar bears, are often simply made more curious by noise in this situation and could well come towards the noise (i.e., you) to check it out.

The predetermined outcome of Option 3 was that making noise would not deter the hungry mother Black Bear, and such was the case. With giant claws and a literally bone-crushing set of jaws, the mother bear came to get dinner for her and her cubs.

I tried to provide multiple "successful" options, but the vast majority of players jumped on this one...

OPTION 2 – Try to shoot the big one first, and then the little ones if the don't run away, risking whatever ammo is needed. (For players with a gun and ammo.)

Only TEAM RANDOM chose a successful option, and it happened to give them the win! Congratulations @bmwaso and @modnar, who each pulled out their firearm and blasted their way to glory.

PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY

All Players have been relieved of their responsibilities. The only thing left to do is check your wallet for your portion of the prize pool!

As always, please remember that all outcomes were predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of your were going to die eventually anyways. Nothing personal.

PRIZE POOL

The current prize pool was 1025 SBD. 75% of it was reserved for the winners, with 25% of it set aside for whoever came in second place.

The winners - TEAM RANDOM ( @bmwaso and @modnar) will each receive half (50%) of the 75% Winner portion of 1025 SBD, (about 770 SBD = 385 SBD EACH!).

The second place players were eight individuals this time. The Runner Up portion of the prize pool (25% of 1025 SBD) is roughly 257 SBD, so with an 8-way split, each player who just died will receive roughly 32.5 SBD.
