THIS POST IS PART OF AN ELIMINATION GAME – DO NOT REPLY TO IT UNLESS YOU ARE PLAYING
In the last round the players had to hide. The city was too dangerous during the daylight hours to be roaming about. If you do that too long, you just might become someone’s lunch! I wonder which options the players used, and how it worked out for them. Are there any casualties already?
DAY 1 ROUND 1 RESULTS
Three options for potential hiding places were given last round. While they were hiding, the players were also looking around for useful items. Let’s see how they did.
OPTION 1 - Try to hide in the van until nightfall and search it for useful items while you are there.
Hiding in the van worked, and no one found the players who chose this option. They did hear some people a few times, but no one stopped to look in. While looking around, they found a plastic bottle with a cap, and some hose.
When nightfall began to creep in, they tried starting the van. It turned on, but did not start. Shucks. If it had started perhaps they could have left the city in a matter of minutes instead of having to creep out on foot. Hmm… the gas gauge showed some gas though… they looked at the hose and bottle.
They snuck out and siphoned a bottle full of gasoline. Of course the bottle was not an approved container, but such laws meant little now. At least they had some fuel to possibly start fires or perhaps use for starting a different vehicle.
The Players who chose Option 1 last time now have a bottle of gasoline. Please add “I have gas” to your next reply on the option comments. If players do not reply with their inventory, I will consider their items misplaced or lost.
OPTION 2 - Try to hide in the flower shop until nightfall and search it for useful items while you are there.
Thankfully, the flower shop also proved itself to be a safe place to hide. It was burned up and broken in enough that no one stopped to check it out. Behind the counter, the players who chose Option 2 searched around.
Though most things were charred beyond recognition, or at least charred beyond use, they did find a knife. It was worth taking, as no one likes being unarmed in a situation like this.
The Players who chose Option 2 last time now have a knife. Please add “I have knife” to your next reply on the option comments. If players do not reply with their inventory, I will consider their items misplaced or lost.
OPTION 3 - Try to hide in the tree until nightfall and search it for useful items while you are there.
Though it took a little effort to climb high enough in the tree to lose visibility from below, the players who chose Option 3 made it up the tree and out of sight.
The bugs were pretty bad in the tree, but the hiding place worked. Unfortunately, the players could find nothing of use there, and the tree was not even edible.
The Players who chose Option 3 last time found nothing but are still alive. They have no items in their inventory.
DAY 1 ROUND 2 SCENARIO
The players are moving quietly through the dark city. So far there has been no sign of anyone else, which may not be a good sign. Usually the activity at night is a little more than this. Maybe it is just a quiet night.
Up ahead, they see a glow. Cautiously they advance.
It is a beat up old truck, with the doors left open. The dome lights are on, so the battery on the truck is still good, which may not be a good sign. Obviously, someone has been here recently. The players cautiously sneak up to get a closer look.
There on the passenger seat are three guns; a pistol, a shotgun, and a rifle. Most likely whoever was driving this vehicle is nearby somewhere, and may have more weapons. However, it is dark enough that it may be worth the risk to try to grab something from the vehicle quick, or maybe even steal the whole vehicle!
Hmmm... it does seem risky, and could even be a set up, but a chance to potentially get a firearm or even more than that may not be a bad risk to take... I wonder what the options are.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 - Try to grab all three of the firearms and sneak off.
OPTION 2 – Try to start the truck and drive away with all the firearms.
OPTION 3 – Try to run away and leave the truck and firearms alone.
OPTION 4 - Try to just grab the pistol and then run away.
OPTION 5 - Try to just grab the shotgun and then run away.
OPTION 6 - Try to just grab the rifle and then run away.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:
I have gas and I choose Option 3 this round.
As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of you are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.
PRIZE POOL
The current prize pool is 100 SBD. The total prize pool amount will grow each round until the game is over.
