THIS POST IS PART OF AN ELIMINATION GAME – DO NOT REPLY TO IT UNLESS YOU ARE PLAYING
In the last round the players had a chance to potentially get some firepower or perhaps even a vehicle. Some went for it all, and some walked away from it all, but most wound up in-between. Let’s see what the results of the options were.
DAY 1 ROUND 2 RESULTS
OPTION 1 - Try to grab all three of the firearms and sneak off.
With the dome light on and a pile of guns on the seat, some players made the move to try to grab them all. They snuck up to the truck just fine, and grabbed the first one… and the second one. Then came the third one, and so did the men who had parked the truck.
From across the street three men emerged from a building. Seeing the shadowy figure of the players with an armload of firepower leaving the truck, the first man shouted, “STOP!”
Of course the players new better, but with three guns in hand, it was difficult to even try to defend themselves. Of course they ran, but they did not outrun the bullets.
And so arrives the first fatalities in this season of the STEEM-Pocalypse Survival Game Contest.
The Players who chose Option 1 have perished and are now eliminated from gameplay for Season 6.
OPTION 2 - Try to start the truck and drive away with all the firearms.
Some of the players chose to try to start the truck in an attempt to not only get all the guns, but the truck as well.
RRMMMMMM!
The truck started right up, and the men came running right out too. Quickly the players who chose this option peeled out and began to speed away. Just as quickly the men raised their other weapons and began to unload.
20 MPH… 25 MPH… 30 MPH…
But the bullets went even quicker….
The Players who chose Option 2 have also perished and are now eliminated from gameplay for Season 6.
OPTION 3 - Try to run away and leave the truck and firearms alone.
Some of the players chose to just take off and flee the area. After reading through the results from the last two options, I bet that they are glad that they did. Thought they did not gain anything, they did not lose their lives.
The Players who chose Option 3 last time got nothing but are still alive.
OPTION 4 - Try to just grab the pistol and then run away.
Quickly they snuck up, and just as quickly they grabbed the pistol and turned away. As they raced back into the shadows, the men emerged from the building across the street, and began to walk back to the truck.
Since the players were unnoticed, the men were unaware, giving the players time to escape. A few blocks down, the players stopped to check their pistol. Inside, there are 8 rounds of ammunition… not bad.
The Players who chose Option 4 now have a pistol and 8 rounds of ammunition. Please include this information in your reply to avoid losing your inventory.
OPTION 5 - Try to just grab the shotgun and then run away.
This option worked out the same as Option 4, only the shotgun had 5 rounds in it.
The Players who chose Option 5 now have a shotgun and 5 rounds of ammunition. Please include this information in your reply to avoid losing your inventory.
OPTION 6 - Try to just grab the rifle and then run away.
This option worked out the same as Option 4 & Option 5, only the rifle had 6 rounds in it.
The Players who chose Option 6 now have a rifle and 6 rounds of ammunition. Please include this information in your reply to avoid losing your inventory.
DAY 2 ROUND 1 SCENARIO
So, the unarmed players who chose to run and those who only tried to grab one firearm are still on the move and still in the game. Since players must eat at least once within every 2 day period of gameplay, many are getting hungry already.
In a city where tens of thousands have been fighting over every last piece of food for months now, locating anything edible here will take some strategy and effort. Perhaps the players chances would be better in the woods, but it'll take more than a day to safely make it that far.
As the players look around their immediate area, they see a few potential options.
OPTIONS
OPTION 1 - Try to search an abandoned lot for any plants that may be edible.
OPTION 2 – Try to search a looted grocery store across the street for anything that anyone else may have missed.
OPTION 3 – Try to search a few abandoned vehicles lining the street and crashed on the sidewalk.
OPTION 4 – Don't bother trying to find anything to eat this round and just keep going.
PLAYER RESPONSIBILITY
All players who have signed up and want to play must reply to this post with 24 hours in order to avoid elimination and continue gameplay. All players must reply to my option comment below, not to this post. I will reply to my own posts with the options each in their own comments, and the players must reply to whichever comment has the option that they wish to choose.
Also, please remember to include your inventory in your reply. Example:
I have gas and a pistol with 8 rounds of ammunition. I choose Option 3 this round.
As always, please remember that all outcomes are predetermined. In an elimination survival game, most of your are going to die eventually. Nothing personal.
