Greetings from New York! While we can't join the #promo-steem squad in person - we'll be there digitally! Our team was recently contacted by @starkerz (of #promo-steem) with the hopes of assembling a short presentation highlighting our work as a Steem-powered incubator. We’re thrilled to have the opportunity to share what we do and why we believe Steem is the best blockchain for creatives and entrepreneurs!
The show in London (April 14th) is a rare opportunity for Steemians to showcase all of the amazing projects being built atop the Steem blockchain. The #promo-steem team has reserved a 4 x 3 meter exhibition stand that will be populated by seminars and workshops catering to prospective users and investors alike.
Our Slides / Steem Infographics
For our slides (running on a loop) we wanted to share a mix of exemplary community projects (focused on prospective Steem users) alongside a series of infographics (catering more towards the average prospective investor). There’s a tremendous amount of material to unpack with Steem and Steemit.com. Our hope is to create a brief but impactful window into some of Steem’s most disruptive qualities.
One of the greatest benefits Steem has (over other cryptocurrencies) is of course, utility. It’s not a fictional prospective blockchain but a usable one that hundreds of thousands of people have and continue to use on a daily basis.
The first two slides seek to drive that point home. Steem is a powerful, scalable resource that entrepreneurs need to take seriously.
Showcasing the utility and value of Steem is critical. We're proud that the #sndbox tag and surrounding community of hundreds (perhaps thousands of bloggers?) have accrued over $400,000 USD since July of last year. It's a signal to the power of creativity within the Steem network and the potential for something much bigger.
