GET YOUR PICTURE POSTED ON YOUR STORY IN STEEMIT ON TINYPIC.COM
So you've managed to come up with a story to submit on Steemit and don't know how to insert a picture or a video or a URL on your article? It's very easy. I hope this helps.
Just go to http://tinypic.com/ , open an account and start uploading. That's the only way you could have you picture inserted in your articles. It's made available as an app but you could just do it in your computer, too. Just ignore the messages that pops out every now and then - on the left side anyway and don't click on ones that say you won something whatsoever. Just X it.
It's very easy really just click on that - "choose a file" button above the "upload button" (red arrow pointing on it) and choose which picture you want to upload.
When you've chosen the file - it's file name would appear beside the - "choose a file" button.
Click on upload and if your file is too huge you'll see this - just wait. I suggest that you leave it on a "DEFAULT" to maintain the desired size of your pics and videos. You can find the "default just at the right end of the "choose file button". If you click on the drop down - it'll give you options on sizes you may want to settle for your pictures and videos. I often use default in my case.
If your file has successfully uploaded, boxes of direct links would appear on the left of the image you uploaded. Copy the one that says "Direct Link for Layouts." Then paste it on the paragraph you want to insert it to.
If you would post number of images - make sure to press SPACE on your keypad before and after each direct links so they would look like this
instead of looking like this. This is was my first upload and you can't actually edit it once it's been paid out.
If you would need the same image on another article. You can just click on that image and you'll find your direct links on the same place - on the left of your uploaded image. Copy the one that says "Direct Link for Layouts." Then paste it on the paragraph you want to insert it to.
HAPPY POSTING!
