Update!!
On August 31st 2017 11PM UTC, 120 hours ago, Steem released a hotfix. Version 0.19.2 includes critical fixes in the communications between nodes (peer to peer). It's a hotfix, but should be applied to prevent issues that have been found and fixed with this hotfix.
Since then, many witnesses have updated, but so far only 35% of the Top20 witnesses have updated!!
Total Numbers Per Group
7 witnesses of the Top 20 (35% Updated)
10 witnesses in the 21-50 range (33% Updated)
18 witnesses in the 51-100 range (36% Updated)
Support active witnesses
This is no other than terrible numbers. We have more updated witnesses in the bottom 51-100 range than in the top 1-50 range. If you are voting on a witness that doesn't update their witnesses you should use your power to change your vote to a witness that does update.
