As we informed you through previous post, SteemSquad, the 1st NFT marketplace based on the Steem blockchain will be launched today (Thursday, June 23rd)!
Before we start
In fact, the development of the alpha version of the NFT marketplace, which was aimed for release in early June, was completed quickly. However, a catastrophic situation of crypto-market occurred in which CeFi, MM, etc., which failed to manage risk properly, sequentially collapsed due to excessive leverage and unauthorized use of customer deposit assets. This made our team watch the market to get a better timing.
It is still difficult to say that the market chain collapse and volatility risks have been completely resolved. However, continuing to postpone the release date indefinitely was also problematic, so our team decided to deliver on time as promised with the community.

Prior to the launch of SteemSquad, we would like to inform you about the basics as follows, so please refer to it before using.

Basic Feature of SteemSquad
Similar to the official website of Steempunks, ONLY login through keychain is supported
After clicking the account name on the upper right corner, you can check the NFT you are currently in on the MY NFTS tab and list it to the market.
- Select the NFT you want to sell first, then click the SELL button on the top right
Or click the SEARCH BOX shown at the top of the main page to search by the title name (ex: Steempunks or PUNKS) or search by an account name.
Enter your STEEM account name in the search box to check the entire NFT you are holding quickly
How to sell NFT
Click the SELL button on the top right and enter the price you want to sell as above.
SteemSquad supports both STEEM and SBD
If you are purchasing NFT you must check whether the token set by the seller is STEEM or SBD.
After entering the desired selling price, click the Request to Sell NFT button and wait a while.
Market Fees & Min Price Limit
Like Opensea SteemSquad also has transaction fees
In the case of Opensea, the creator can determine the royalty fee of up to 10%, but in the case of SteemSquad, the creator fee is unified to 5%.
The platform fee of Opensea is 2.5% but 2% for SteemSquad. SteemSquad distributes 0.5% to Steempunks and BTSC (scheduled to be released soon).
Total fee is 7.5% (almost the same as Opensea)
Since the decimal of STEEM and SBD is limited to the third decimal point, you can input AT LEAST 1 STEEM or SBD. (decimal point input not allowed)
The creators of each series (@kiwifi, @wootun, @newiz, @Ezen) will automatically receive the fee whenever the transaction of the series NFT occurs.
