Donation of £613 Made to the British Red Cross on Behalf of the Steemit Community

The post about the London attacks last week.

This is just a follow up to last week's post on the London terror attacks - where I said that I would donate the money raised to charity.

Thank you so much to all the community for the upvotes. After conversion to Bitcoins and then conversion to pounds using Bittylicious the total amount came to £613.46!

Here is the confirmation from Bittylicious for the sale:

Whilst looking for a suitable charity, I came across this post by the British Red Cross about their UK Solidarity Fund.

"Standing in solidarity

In the aftermath of the recent devastating terror attack in London, coming less than two weeks after the Manchester attack, people across the country have united to support and help each other. The generosity and kindness shown by the public has been overwhelming. By donating to our UK Solidarity Fund, you can help victims of terror attacks in this country. Please donate now to show that they are not alone.

This sounds like the perfect place for a donation. So I have donated the money in the name of the Steemit community to this Red Cross Initiative.
