Announcing SteemBets where you vote bet for free on prices of cryptocurrencies going up or down!
To play: Vote on main post and only one comment (Up or Down) per game with at least 50% voting power. Amount of time for voting on each post is about 23/24 hours with the cut off times shown in each respective post in EST (Eastern Standard Time) Format. Then the bet will be for the price of the cryptocurrency to go up or down from one date to another after the post date as specified on each post. For example a post on 12/4 (today) may be betting on the price change from 12/5 to 12/6. These price changes may be looked up on coingecko.com. Each game has a chart from about the time the post was made and a link to the page on CoinGecko where you may see an up to date chart and price tables.
These cryptocurrencies were chosen based on community feedback. This project idea come to life partially from a mixture of my experience and knowledge of betting, cryptocurrencies, and games. These games are currently hosted by @thegame and @steembets accounts. Originally ran some games on thegame account in conjunction with Steemit Game Night and a few rounds of eSports as well which may be revisited in the future.
