DTube - How to Travel to Las Vegas on a Budget - STEEM CREATORS CONFERENCE

Hey, Steemians.

I posted before about my plans to go to Las Vegas for the Steem Creators Conference organized by @steemcafe. Well I made it happen and the weekend of the conference was awesome. Even better than I expected it to be.

I have already posted on or two short things from the conference but now I will get more in depth with much more content of it for you. Starting with this vlog of my journey to Las Vegas from Mexico City.

I start in Mexico City's Benito Juarez Airport in Terminal 1. Apparently it is the largest airport terminal in the Americas. I flew on VivaAerobus, a Mexican budget airline direct to Las Vegas. It was my first time flying with them and I was happy with the overall experience. It was a 4 hour flight and my butt was numb by the end of it, but for the low price I paid, it was worth it.

Once in Las Vegas, I had to get to my accomodation from the airport. Since I'm a budget traveler, I chose to take the slow option. Uber is not very expensive in Las Vegas but I was planning on utilizing the bus system anyway so I took the bus from the airport and it dropped me about 1 block from where my hostel was located.

Which brings us to Sin City Hostel. Certainly not glamorous like the Bellagio, but not run down either. It's a converted hotel that they turned into dorm rooms. And for less than $25 per night, free simple breakfast and no resort fees*, I was happy with it.

That night there was a social meetup planned for the attendees of the conference, so I took the Deuce, the bus that serves The Strip, to Fashion Show Mall on the north side of The Strip. We met at Kona Grill, most of us for the first time, and socialized and got to know each other over drinks.
