Try Out Our NEW Steemit Tag and Title Keyword Tool: A Little Research, a Big Result

Steemistry got a cool new update today! We've released a tool to make choosing topics and keywords for your Steemit posts easier.

Steemit Tag and Title Keyword Analyzer

Have you ever started a Steemit post, but wondered how to make the maximum impact? We have just the tool to help.

The Steem blockchain is FULL of data. Every day, more and more posts are added to the chain, and it gets a little harder to write something new, unique, or search friendly. Wouldn't it be nice if you could look up all of the posts on Steemit with certain keywords, so you could use them to identify successful blogging habits or underrepresented topics? We got you, fam.

I'm a marketer myself. Before I came and began working on Steemit full time, I used a lot of tools to help me identify great keywords, successful examples, and information gaps where I could write something really awesome and do well. I've noticed that this is really difficult to do on Steemit, and it inspired the creation of this free keyword tool. Has the topic you've chosen already been written about a lot? We can help you find out how many posts involve your keyword, or can help you find a topic that doesn't have many posts yet. How have successful articles used topics and keywords to create the maximum user interest and payouts? Searching with this tool will give you every related post, all of the permalinks, and all of the payout and vote information in an easily sortable table.

Here's a quick rundown on how to use our Steemit Tag and Title Keyword Analyzer:
Enter your Steemit keyword or keywords and hit "search". Depending on your choice, this can take a little bit — it's usually smoking fast, but it is searching the entire blockchain. If you get a prompt telling you you've used too broad a search, you have two options:

  • add another related keyword and search them together to narrow it down (for example, try animal and rescue instead of just animal)
  • choose a more specific single term (for example, try labrador instead of dog)

Each of the results are clickable permalinks, which will open the post in a new browser tab so you can check it out exactly as it appears on the chain. You can sort by every parameter: if you want to see the most recent or oldest post, order by date. If you want to know what the most lucrative post was, order by SBD or SP payout. If you want to see what hit trending and caught people's eyes, order by upvotes. There are many ways to search this information that will help you gain some insights to help you with your own posts.

Long tail keyword research is a really important tool for any successful blogger, but this tool also functions as a great "search" replacement for Steemit too. Are you a curator or reader?

Maybe you're really not too worried about using this tool like a marketer, but you'd really like to find articles just to read and are pretty frustrated with some of the limited search options on Steemit. You can use our tool to find posts that interest you in really specific niches, find new posts with low payouts with certain keywords, or look at posts that have yet to payout that you can encourage or curate. The flexibility in the way you use the data makes this a great tool for pretty much everyone.

Crim and I have been having a lot of fun using this one to explore Steemit... we hope you like it too! Check it out, let us know what you think, and leave us a comment. We always love to get your feedback.
