Most of the Asian traffic is coming from Eastern Asia. The Eastern Asia traffic is dominated by South Korea. Seoul is the Steemit capital by a huge margin, and there are six South Korea cities in the top 25 cities.
I don’t know if this record is still going on, but #kr community is steadily developing.
There have been a lot of things happened in #kr. As many articles have been uploaded in Korean, various tags have been created starts with kr-, there are also specialized fields such as kr-science. steemkr.com which is a Korean version of Steemit created by the development team, and various attempts such as kr-market and financial service are started. Why I’m enthusiastic for kr-market
I used to run the market through my blog a while ago. Even though it is a small blog, somehow Japanese and Chinese people gave me a purchase intention. I was very grateful and thankful, but we had a big problem with payment. There was a way to pay by credit card outside of Korea, but it was too small a blog to have a credit card payment system, also Japanese people didn’t prefer pay with credit card. I realized that how much hard to sell goods overseas for a small business. At that time, I used to think that I hope there is a blog platform like Steemit.
It’s been only about two months since Kr-market started, and it should be supplemented in the future, but #kr-market is becoming more active by trading each other's products with Steem and I think Steem market’s possibility is infinite.
I think Steemit Market can become a global market place more than any other platform.
