I never joined steemit for persuasion sake. I wan not coerced, neither was it a plea. It was an invitation to view creativity, charity, fairness and a community of mutual power and growth. As such, even if steemit had to shut down tomorrow (I know it won't), I wouldn't have anything to lose, safe the learning space it affords me.

I had always hoped to learn programming with a view to ease repetitive works in my creativity hub, but time failed me. At some point, the interest was gone, yet, when I joined steemit. I discovered how easy it was to learn the mark-up language. In less than a month, I started using html coding for my posts. This is one of the plus i've got in steemit and am sure that the knowledge will not be lost, rather improved.

The essence of this message is for two sets of persons:

1. The newbies like me in the system who are outrageous in qetting-rich-quickly. Steemit is a system that is characterized by systematic and sustainable features to enhance the growth of its users, even the laziest of them. Being desperate to gain attention will only be loopholes to account hacking, heart attack and disappointments.

2. To point out my stand on the #deletefacebook campaign.Personally, my facebook account has become relatively dormant since I found steemit. No one had to preach to me to devote my energy and time to build my steemit block to earn good followership and reputation. I scarely visit facebook to invite friends to the new life with exceptional rewards in steemit. The lessons of cooperation, values and sustainable rewards second to none in the blockchain. Thus, I don't see the need to cast a propaganda for another social platform. It is dangerous as there may be a gang-up against steemit and we all lose afterall. I think we rather promote steemit in the most acceptable taking into considerations the #BestPractices on promotion. If we join our hands to build steemit by giving it the value it deserves, steemit will by itself draw attention.

Steemit will by itself draw attention because:

Steemit has credibility
Steemit rewards are sustainable as they are appropriately shared to users as they contribute to the system
Steemit celebrates creativity at its peak
Steemit encourages originality and ingenuity
Steemit rewards good efforts
Steemit has no privacy
Steemit represents fairness

My Recommendations:
Steemians that have gained from this platform should begin some philanthropic activities in the society to gain followership. Kudos to @stach @steemchurch @fatherfaith @steemitschool @familyprotection @air-clinic among others for their good works in extending the rewards earned in steemit to be a blessing to our societies at large.

Users like @anyx and others who have contributed uniquely into the system in cleansing plagiarized content from the steemit platform via @cheetah bot should be encouraged and such gestures emulated.

Works of great steemit-witnesses such as @surpassinggoogle @steemgigs among others should be emulated by other users who should seek how to give back into the system.

Lets #celebratesteemit to the envy of other platform in the blockchain as well as other social network users. Steemit is growing and nothing can stop it. Soon, steemit will become a household word in every home.
