It’s less than a month to #SteemFest. In fact, it’s only 24 days away! Can you believe it?

Everyone’s excited, and not just because it’s going to be the hottest gathering Amsterdam has ever seen. Especially the night of Day 2, where there’s going to be one hell of a party at 19.30.

Choosing party music for people of different ages and backgrounds, especially with a global, decentralised community like Steemit, is not going to be an easy task. That’s why we’ve taken it on ourselves to put together the best party music for our DJs, starting now!

Now, we know what it’s like - not all DJ’s love to play requests - but we think getting some indication as to what kind of music at least some of us want to hear will help our #SteemFest party really pop.

So here’s what we’re gonna do.

Over the next 20 days, we will create one daily post where you can vote for the songs you want to dance to at the #SteemFest party! Please, let’s stick with dance tracks that get you in the party mood – just because you like Chopin doesn’t mean you can (or even should) twerk to it.

Every day, the top 5 tracks by number of votes will be added to our party track list. In the end, that’s 100 songs – what a list! On day 21, we’ll post these tracks, and the ones with the most votes will be placed at the top of the final list. Then, it goes to @roelandp. We bet our #SteemFest DJ will be able to use our list as inspiration!
