9 May 2018, yes if you notice the title and if you feel like you heard it before then you are right! I am revising this restaurant but trying new dishes. I was deciding weather to write a review of this restaurant again or not, but when I think for the different dish I order this time which was extremely worth recommending, I feel like I sharing all of these goodness to all of my readers.
PUTIEN Style "Bian Rou" Soup with Vinegar
Bian rou aka wonton translate to meat dumpling. From what I have been told, the filling is made with minced pork meat pounded by hand for three hours! This process makes the filling extremely springy. As for the dumpling skin, it's also handmade. The skin is ridiculously paper thin, which I think it's a good balance ratio of filling to skin. Soup has a very sweet chicken taste and a little sourness from the vinegar which makes all the element a excellent combination!

Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon
For those who don't speak mandarin bee hoon is vermicelli. In this restaurant they make their vermicelli by hand which they claimed that it translucent, silky, fine, chewy but not brittle like machine made vermicelli. The broth is no ordinary one too. This made from old hen and pork bone for many hours to extract the milky, rich goodness. It's finished by adding prawn, fried seaweed, scallops, bak choi, mussels, peanut, fried bean curd skin, sautéed garlic and onion. To me all those ingredients really do add layers of taste and flavour!

Steamed Live Seabass with Diced Chilli
This dish is a well play of spiciness, sweetness, savouriness and saltiness! The seabass has no trace of fishiness, meat was flaky and not mushy. The sauce made from fermented black bean, chile oil, chile, garlic and soy sauce was to die for. Extremely complex flavour in the sauce, it's like a bbq spice mix but just Asian style!

Pumpkin Cream with Ice-Cream
This feels like a healthy alternative for a dessert! Pumpkin cream has a nice blend of milkiness and pumpkin flavour, to me it's just nice In sweetness. It's very smooth in the mouth. The ice cream served is coconut ice cream, which in my opinion works well with pumpkin. Like all good ice cream, very smooth and strong coconut flavour without being too sweet. On top of the ice cream is a little sweetness booster, blueberry sauce.

Hot Yam Paste with Ginko Nuts
Very strong yam paste!! Like the other dessert has just right sweetness and it's velvety smooth. It is embedded on coconut milk, yam and coconut milk work very well in terms of flavour. The ginkgo nuts, elevated the dish by giving a very appealing look to it, also it gives a little bitter taste and a very unique texture kinda like fresh nut texture.

My Final Thoughts
Food is excellent, environment is cozy and comfortable, manager are very friendly, servers are efficient even though it's during peak hour and the restaurant is filled to its maximum capacity. But as for a Malaysian working and staying here, the price is at the higher side. However, as that being said this place is definitely work dining in once in awhile. I would recommend having a party or wedding dinner here!!
