Thank God its Friday! Some might think of enjoying the rest of the night attending some parties, eat out, shopping, traveling or just go home and sleep, but for us SteemGiggers Friday Night is SteemGigs Talk Show Night!

It started with a call to gather "Future Whales" of Steemit and SteemGigs to have a talk -- a talk that will not just help a person to Grow in Steemit but a talk that will surely change the way we view Steemit. A call from the CEO of SteemGigs, our Mentor @surpassinggoogle.

You may want to view his invitation to gather people Here

The Talk Show

I joined the Discord chat around 11:12pm MNL, as what Terry mentioned he doesn't have any program on the talk show. It was disorganized at first, you will hear a lot of people talking, heard a lot of background noise due to an "open mic", we don't know who's talking and we can't hear Terry clearly. We all agreed to "mute" our microphones in order for us to hear who's talking, thanks to those people who initiated to help Terry to organize the Talk Show! Special mention to @maverickinvictus and @michaelcabiles. It all went smooth from that point up until the end. Terry shared a lot from his "mind", he even shared his personal experience in Steemit from his "Minnow Days" up until he became a "Whale" (For almost 3-4hrs). He also allowed people to share their experiences, their minds in the talk show. It is not just an ordinary talk show, it is actually a gathering of Beautiful MINDS and EXPERIENCES from different people, as what Terry is always saying "School of Life. No Books Involve."

Some of the talk points:

  1. Shows his love for his family and especially his mother
  2. Talked about Teardrops and its purpose
  3. Talk about his love for people
  4. Talk about his health (he is currently experiencing a lot of pain)
  5. Some history about Steemit (when Terry is still a minnow)

The Learning That I Acquired

"I love you."
-- Pertaining to every SteemGigger. This is selfless, willing to do everything to help people to become successful.

"Your post is very powerful."
-- that it can make an impact to other people, it can even change the way people think and live, it can even change the atmosphere of someone's life.

"You are bigger than money!"
-- we are indeed bigger and more valuable than money, our post are more valuable than the money that we get from upvotes. Our experience is something that money can't afford.

"Establishing yourself in Steemit will take time and it requires consistency."
-- It does require Time and Consistency, time to think and be creative on what to post andb consistency in posting, I remembered Terry mentioning that he became consistent in posting Quotes during his minnow days, it might not earn a dollar but ue kept on posting.

My Personal Question

My Question: What is your Purpose why you are doing these things? You're helping a lot of people, you're sacrificing your personal time and money, you're giving a lot of effort to help us, what is the purpose behind this?

His Answers: This question does require a Broad Answer. But one thing that pushes me to do these things is LOVE. Remember when Jesus was in a temple, he made a whip and drive out sellers and traders in the temple, does He made that action out of Hate? No. He made it out of LOVE, He made it out of Love for the Father. I help people because I love them, I care for them. (This is not the exact answer of Terry, this is based on how I remembered it, HoHoHo):

The Hardest Question

Terry mentioned that the hardest question he always have to answer is "How Are You?". Well, that's tough. Even though it is one of the simplest questions it requires "a lot" -- a total evaluation of yourself, you need to be true, you need to be open, you need to be honest. And as per experience when someone asked you this question that person "truly cares for you." I actually do have a life group and I always ask them this question for Four reason (1) to let them be aware of what's happening to them (2) to know how will I help them (3) to show care to them (4) to let them know that someone is willing to listen to them. When was the last time you asked someone "How are you?"

A Success or Not?

All in all, the Talk Show was a total success. Everyone enjoyed, everyone learned new things, and got to know @surpassinggoogle better. Looking forward for the next edition of the Talk Show!

The Last Line

"When I look at others, I mostly see limitations, when I look at you, I definitely see the Universe!"

Let us keep on supporting @surpassinggoogle by voting his witness account "steemgigs"
