For today's SteemGigs Tradeqwik contest, we touch on VIVA
Another interesting currency that exists on www.tradeqwik.com is VIVA. Like the name implies, this is the major currency upon which the VIVAconomy is built.
VIVA was created to stay pegged to the minimum daily wage in developing countries, only allowing tiny fluctuations up or down! However, more recently VIVA crownholders or decision-makers decided to raise the peg to $10 over the course of the coming weeks.
VIVA peg is now at $6.06!
According to their calendar, the VIVA peg was once again increased incrementally and is now set at $6.06 until next Sunday. The price of VIVA prior to this increment was $5.78 and the next peg will put the price of VIVA at $6.37 on August 30.
Basically, this means that if you bought VIVA even now, you can take advantage of its weekly increment over the course of the coming months only the price reach its next peg at $10.
Overall, this is not trading advice but a means through which you can join the VIVAconomy through @tradeqwik.

To buy VIVA is pretty straight-foward, if you are buying with other cryptocurrencies apart from steem. Simply get the appropriate cryptocurrency wallet address generated from Tradeqwik and send your cryptocurrency to VIVA, then set up a "buy order" using the appropriate VIVA pair.
