It has been great to see more SBD in the reward mix lately. You will need to have your Active key or master password to buy or sell Steem/SDB. It is good practice to login with your posting key - and only use our active key for transactions. You should never share this key with anyone else (the posting key you can)

Step 1

Make sure that you are logged into your Steem account.

Step 2

Use the drop down menu in the top right corner to navigate to your wallet.

Step 3

Your wallet should look similar to the below. There is a link that says "Permissions" (the one circled in yellow) - click on the link.

Step 4

The second key down is your Active Key. When you first arrive at the page it will show you the public key (Starts with the letter "S"). Click on the box cicled in yellow to login and get the private active key.

Step 5

The private active key should now be showing. You will know it is the private key if it starts with the number "5". This is the key you want to use when doing exchanges between Steem and Steem Backed Dollar!
