The party to ring in the new year is over. Time to look forward to a crisp new year....
I stumbled onto Steemit 69 days ago; created 461 posts and I have 1,768 followers. Most of my blog posts were about business information systems and related business topics. I have spent a significant amount of time on Steemit to learn, to create content, to curate and to interact with some Steemians. I am hopeful for the progress of Steemit and Steem. I have witnessed some 'ugly' incidents around fraud, nasty infighting and the use of tools, technology and tactics to circumvent the 'natural' blogging goals of Steemit. This is to be expected with a new platform, with members transitioning from traditional social media channels, and the lure of riches from Steem and Steem Backed Dollars.
I aim to to be a better Steemian in 2018 and here are my goals:
Review ideas to be more productive from selected blog posts by @flauwy, @jerrybanfield, @everittdmickey, @fitinfun, @phelimint and @valorforfreedom by Tue 02Jan17.
Create a game plan based on step 1 by Tue 02Jan17. The game plan shall be based on SMART - Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely.
Develop the habit to write consistently by participating in @dragosroua 's 30 Day Writing Challenge - starting with this post with the tag #challenge30days. I look forward to interacting with others joining the challenge!
Explore opportunities to develop content and curate on related platforms - utopian.io, DTube and Busy, as suggested by @flauwy in a recent post
Develop opportunities to contribute in other ways to the success of Steemit.
I would like to wish all Steemians a great 2018 filled with love, joy, good health and prosperity! Cheers!
