Did Poloniex manipulate Steem Backed Dollars?
Poloniex had technical issues with Steem deposits and withdrawals which resulted in Steem being stuck and not depositing or withdrawing from the exchange.
WHERE DOES THE MANIPULATION COME IN?
Well SBD which are supposed to be pegged to the US Dollar reached highs as far as $2.60 recently and haven't been trading in the $1 dollar range for quite sometime.
The whole "technical issues" with Steem caused peopled to dump SBD on to the markets which has resulted in SBD's price falling and is now trading in the range it's supposed to be around $1.
Now all of a sudden pretty much as soon as SBD has fallen back to its peg the "technical issues" have been resolved and Steem is now depositing and withdrawing again.
Do you think this in manipulation by Poloniex possibly in conjunction with someone else to fix SBD's price?
