One of the things with steemit is that you mostly oversee when one of your favorite authors posts. A nice tool with one can see that is steemvoter.com. Yes, I know not this is the purpose of the tool, but the tool can be used for that.

Don't put your steemit password. Also use an anonymous email address. After registration, click on add account.
Gibt euer Passwort nicht an. Benützt auch eine anonyme Email Adresse. Nach der Anmeldung, klickt auf add account.
Here you have to insert the username and the posting key, not the master key. This can be found under Wallet -> Permission -> Show private key
Hier müsst ihr euer Username und die Posting Key einbringen, nicht die Master Key. Diese findet man bei Wallet - > Permission -> Show private key
After that you have to set up rules for voting. In the free version you can add 3 user to autovote and if you pay 3SBD a month 500. I paid it, as the money from the curation rewards is coming in 6 days back. I would suggest to have a voting around 10-30 minutes if you target also curation, which would make sense.
Nachdem muss man Regeln(rules forvoting) fürs voten eigeben. In der kostenlosen Version sind nur 3 Usern zugelassen. Wenn man bis zu 500 haben möchte, kostet es 3SBD/Monat. Ich habe das bezahlt weil es lohnt sich wegen der Curation Rewards. Bei mir kommen die 3SBD in 6 Tage. Ich würde euch empfehlen das Voten nach 10-30(maximal) Minuten zu machen weil da hat man das meiste Gewinn.
Now back to the start. How can I see if the authors I like posted? Easy, just click on logs and you will see where you voted. You can click on every link there and don't have to search for the authors, they all are there with their newest posts.
Jetzt wieder zurück, warum es einfacher ist die Lieblingsautoren so zu verfolgen. Wenn man auf logs klickt, erscheinen die letzten Post wo man gevotet hat. Die Übersicht ist viel besser, weil man sieht wer wann was gepostet hat und durch einen Klick liest man es.
