So last night, some of us from the #promo-uk team met in the etherwebby
We had a lovely conversation about how we are bringing Steemit to the streets of the UK and some of the really cool ideas and projects which are coming out which are already having a positive effect on bringing new users to the platform.
So, @starkerz @stephenkendal and myself had an interesting chat which included a bit of information on the UK initiative, and how people around the country, and indeed around the world can get involved in promoting Steemit locally. We also talked about the new Steem MicroLoan concept which is about to be launched, and even got into things like the future of Steemit, it's potential applications, and how we can help mentor people into improving their Steemit experience.

We will be running these meetings fortnightly, and we are looking for people to join us to help out with promoting in the UK.
