Since Late 1970's
The Cookies Are Just Sweet Enough
And Yummy Chocolate.
You Will Need:
1/2 - Cup Of Millk
2 - Cups Of Sugar
1/2 - Cup Butter
2/3 - Cup Of Peanut Butter
3 - Cups Of Quick Oats
3 - Tablespoons Of Cocoa
1 - Teaspoon Of Vanilla
Medium To Large Saucepan
Airtight Container
Wax Paper or Lightly Greased Cookie Sheets
Measuring Utensils
Cook The Milk, Sugar And Butter about
On Boil For 1 Minute
Until It Forms A Softball Stage ( See Below) In Cold Water.
Remove From Heat, Add Peanut Butter,
Cocoa And Vanilla To The Syrup
Stir Well, Stir In Oats And Coat Well
Drop By Spoonfuls On
Wax Paper Or
Lightly Greased Cookie Sheet
Makes About 2 To 4 Dozen
Depending On Size Of Cookie
Let Dry,
Store In Airtight Container
Stays Fresh For About A Week
Cookies May Also Be Frozen For 3 Months
A Softball Stage Is When A
Drop Of Cooked Sugar Mixture Is
Dropped In Cold Water And
It Forms A Soft Fuzzy Ball
When It Is Removed From Water,
The Ball Then flattens
