Steemit.com: a much needed upgrade!

Steemit is migrating from an english content only blockchain social network into a multilingual social network at full speed.

Whales and dolphins like @pharesim, @val, @silversteem, @clayop, @nextgencrypto, @berniesanders, @knozaki2015, @shaka, @razvanelulmarin, @greenwayoflife, @jasonstaggers are contributing to reward non-english content in several ways.

One such cool initiative is the Proyecto Cervantes part of the larger Project Curie aimed at curating spanish content.

So users are posting in many languages, contributing to a real global reach of steem, but steemit.com frontend looks like this:

I think it's time for @dantheman and @ned to prioritize the development of a steemit.com multilingual frontend that eventually would look like this:

I don't suggest to start trying to include every language on earth as a first step, but we should have at least Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Deutsch, French (and any other language that is being posted on steemit) versions of the frontend page by now. Forks of the blockchain as a way to improve this steemit beta are of course needed, but the frontend aspect of the platform is equally important as a multilingual frontend will leverage global adoption of steemit.
