An acquisition I thought I was done with..

I realize that inner child is still alive. I recently dug out some old comic books and inquisitively looked at ebay to see what prices were like. I was always under the impression that they held no value unless they were bronze age comics.

What the comic book market taught me in my older age is that indeed, some comics do hold value like artwork. Forget about being savvy on which titles to collect. What I discovered that can increase the value is to actually get a signature and have it appraised by CGC.

After each comic has been graded it is then encapsuled. Each certified comic is unique and is also an important deterrent to counterfeiting CGC's valued product.

It's worth it. If it is signed and witnessed you can make that comic increase in value 300% in certain cases. You can resell these acquisitions back onto ebay if you wish and make an hefty profit.

I purchased the above comic for $350 USD and can potentially resell it for $400-$700.

It's not for everyone, but in terms of a love for your childhood hobby, or just pure profit it's not a dead end. People usually sell lots of this stuff and don't know that they could be holding some
gold. Imagine what happens to the value if a man like Stan Lee passed away. Like fine art, don't over look this industry.
