I have heard theories that once it expires after 30 days you are basically dead in the water.
Why do I care? Well I might have gotten a little boost ahead from @whaleshares, it's not nearly enough to make an impact.
Everyone in this community agrees that the road to prosperity here requires a constant stream of new participants. If not, this is what happens:
I recently brought over a big blogger and youtuber and they only have (+28) Steem Power to help get them started. As a minnow it's not
so easy for me to lend him SP.
Was something changed within the last 30 days?
If this is the new norm for new users, steem might be dead in the water!
I'll still go full steem ahead, but new users didn't have the advantage I had (although +106SP boost isn't nearly enough either).
Is the hard fork that is coming up going to help solve this issue?
