10) A Film Photography Journey of My First Backpacking Trip – How 5 Days in the Lost Coast of California Changed My Life by @anwenbaumeister

We kick off with @anwenbaumeister! Her blog contains many amazing stories within the categories of travel, life and photography. In this article she writes in detail about her first backpacking trip. A moving story about the point in her life where she really needed to do such a thing to be out of her home situation for a whil.

"Under the stars, with no other humans around, we allowed our barriers to come down. Every night we shared about our lives, and every night the sharing went deeper. I was able to open up about the issues that I was dealing with and by hearing my peers stories I realized that I was not alone. I also realized how scared we are about being vulnerable but also how much we crave and need human connection and this vulnerability." (by anwenbaumeister)

Perched on the edge of Kenai Fjords National Park, Seward is the gateway town to adventure. Transportation to Bear Glacier Lake can be booked through Seward Water Taxi (sewardwatertaxi.com), but outfitters like Liquid Adventures can provide gear, guides and transportation." (by ranajit)

finding lessons, going through experiences, and meeting people they'd never have anticipated." (by rok-sivante)

1) New on Steemit: Girl traveling the world solo. Hi all! by @budgetbucketlist

Number 1 of the Official Steemit #Top10 is the solo travelling dutch girl which you might remember. Recently, she introduced herself on Steemit. I was so inspired by her story about travelling solo for already such a long time. Ambituous as she is, she learned 7 languages and managed to inspire many Steemers with her introduction post. In this #introduceyourself post she clearly explains that any of us could be living the life of a backpacker as long as we really want ourselves to.

"Do you have a house... or apartment (rental, with a mortgage or bought)? Is there furniture in there, or something as fancy as 'decoration'? Do you have a smartphone? Do you have a computer, laptop or both? Do you have a car or any other mode of transport besides your feet and thumb? Do you have a child? If you answered 'yes' on one of these questions, you DO have money to travel around the world, you just decided to spend it differently." (by budgetbucketlist)
